New forum all post away
old archive is Lost.
*Eventually this thread will be deleted as it will cease to be a "New" forum so Im locking it till I get to it, but folks can post anywhere else.

What happened to that old Forum? They had contests and points and, and . . . .
Seriously, this is a good choice. Noctar's have their forums here, too. Having a universal account is a mixed bag. You have one password to rule them all, but in my case it was chosen ten years ago. They bury the forgot password link as well, but fortunately I chose a particularly goofy one that I remembered.
I would have to review it, but I think on the administrator side of forums, you can run polls and such. I'll leave a shout inviting people to check in with this thread to say hello, and maybe you can announce a regular day each month to post server news.
There is a lot of content I have posted over the years and it is easy enough to rip and tranfer a few at a time over here. I am thinking ogf the things I have stickied on Noctar's forums. Would be good to preserve some of those, and maybe some of Drosettia's posts as well.

Do we have info saved at all from the old forum? There was some pretty good stuff there if I remember correctly.

Looks like its all gone. Was around 10 years of posts also Vic Nordock another server i started lost there forum too. Many memories gone, very sad  From what i gather the old forum was run by one guy, and i cant find any reason for its disappearance. |
